The World’s Greatest Nature Journeys
Natural Habitat Adventures has been a frontier in responsible adventure journeys and ecotourism as early as 1985. Natural Habitat Adventures professional guides reveal the world’s most extraordinary nature sites. For example, their world-class polar bear tours in Churchill, their small-group Galapagos cruises, or their Alaska grizzly bear adventures to African safaris, are just a few of them worth mentioning. Natural Habitat is a Conservation Travel Partner to World Wildlife Fund and the world’s first 100% carbon-neutral travel company. Natural Habitat Adventures offers eco-conscious expeditions from Antarctica to Zanzibar with a multitude of adventures in between!
As these vaccines are rolling out, are you feeling the optimism in the air, like I am? Are you sensing that new travel adventures lie right around the corner? If so, you aren’t alone!
We’re seeing heightened interest in 2021 travel, and there has perhaps never been a more important time to get back into nature. This inventory is limited, but I want to be sure you know about these closer-to-home destinations that have a few spaces available for this year!

Natural Habitat Adventures local friends in this small subarctic town are eagerly welcoming Nat Hab guests on their polar bear tours right now, and they are thrilled we’ll be returning for aurora season as well. 2022 aurora expeditions are filling fast, but there are still scattered space available in February and March.
There’s no better place to look for the northern lights than from Churchill. It lies directly beneath the electromagnetic band that circles Earth’s polar region, where the most intense aurora activity is visible. And with frequent clear winter skies, the conditions are often optimal for auroral displays.
Witness the aurora in four unique settings, wrapped in total darkness. Watch from a heated glass Aurora Pod, plexiglass-topped Aurora Domes, a tepee warmed by a campfire, and at a remote cabin deep in the boreal forest, which Nat HB reach by private snowcoach.
Days are exciting, too, as we learn about the lifestyles and traditions of northern people on an array of activities, including igloo building and a dog sled ride.
Polar Bears of Churchill
Natural Habitat small-group adventures to Churchill, Manitoba — the Polar Bear Capital of the World — get you closer to more bears, in greater comfort and safety, than anywhere else on Earth. Each fall, they convene along Hudson Bay, waiting for the ice to form. View them from custom Polar Rovers, or stay directly in the bears’ habitat at the Tundra Lodge!
